WE BOUGHT A BUGGY

We did something a little bit nuts considering it's ridiculously early days.. something that would give my mother in law the jitters in case something goes wrong... We put a deposit down on a buggy.

I popped into Mamas & Papas in Leeds before a shoot a few weeks ago; I was excited to browse and I knew it was much more likely no-one would see me who knew me there. There was an offer on for the Zoom travel set in an amazing lime-yellow and I tentatively had a look.. With Vivienne we had  foldable cheap stroller that got very worn bungling it in and out of the car and this time we both wanted to 'do it properly' and get something we both really liked. I'd been pinning buggies pre-emptively on Pinterest and the Zoom was one of them. I liked that it was a bit chunky and robust - I have visions of power walking with it to get my strength back in time for wedding season 2017 after the birth - and really liked that it folds down well and each parts easily clicks on and off.

I definitely didn't want anything gender specific (you may see a theme as these posts go on with this..), so the bright yellow and black was perfect.

After chatting with the sales girl and ringing Dav we put a deposit down and even booked a delivery date for November - and it's all fully cancellable just in case. It feels pretty nice to know that one of the big and more expensive things has been ticked off the list.. EXCITING.
