9 WEEKS | PREGNANT AT GLASTONBURY
So, we've been back for two days and I'm still tired. We've been down at Glastonbury for the past week and it was so good. I'd been quite nervous about going and feeling pretty shitty and not particularly enjoying it but, tipsy or not (not, obviously), I had a blast. I've found that being around other people has given me more momentum and energy than I have on my own at home, and the fact there was just so much to do really kept me going.
I had my crappy fake red wine, and poured myself lots of 'gin and tonics' all week. As it's a festival where you carry your own booze every day it helped make it so much less obvious and I honestly don't think anyone twigged. The only thing I noticed was feeling tired earlier without alcohol buying me a few extra hours after the festival moved on from the stages into the nightlife.
We stayed in a caravan which massively helped as both of us actually got good sleep while we were there - the bonus of having a loo there too without needing to find your wellies and waterproofs in the dark in the middle of the night also really took the edge off 'festival living'.
I did get carried away and made David shake on us coming back next year with a 7 year old and what would be a five month old.. I guess it's something we'll have to work out closer to the time...
